Thea for SketchUp is a combination of powerful rendering engines of Thea with the simplicity of SketchUp. Having biased, unbiased and interactive render modes including GPU support at your fingertips, inside SketchUp view, is a joyful experience. The plugin lets you enrich your models with highly detailed three dimensional content, breaking old limitations related to handled model complexity.


Thea for Rhino integrated plugin takes full advantage of Thea Render functionality and allows you to create high-quality photorealistic renders within Rhino 6. With advanced features such as interactive render, true physically-based materials, innovative material layering, IES & HDRI light support along with a versatile rendering system comprised of biased, unbiased and GPU engines, rendering within Rhino has become really powerful.


Thea Substance™ Converter allows you to create a Thea material from a Substance™ SBSAR file. You can use the parameters exported with the Substance file to change the look of the textures and also see the preview of the created Thea material before you save the final result. You can use any SBSAR file, but with a Substance™ material based on the Metallic/Roughness PBR template you ensure that the created Thea material will also be a physically-based one.


Render times can be improved dramatically by having more computers contributing to rendering static images and animations. This is done transparently by installing and connecting our render node application to the main Thea Render integration. And even better, the render node application is free of charge, thus you can use all your spare machines to accelerate render results.


Thea Benchmark is a standalone application running on both Windows and macOS and can be used to test and evaluate the performance of your hardware. Thea Benchmark will use the CPU and every compatible graphics card on the system and give user the choice to select which of those should be used. Results can be saved locally or uploaded to the Benchmark Database website and compare your results with hundreds of different setups.
