A maintenance release has just been published for the Thea for SketchUp / Rhino / Cinema 4D integrations including several fixes and workflow enhancements. You can find an extensive list below.

Thea for SketchUp v2.1.896.1847 – Changelog
General:
- Fix for slower model export when the number of materials in SketchUp model increases.
- Fix for wrong texture coordinates when there is a specific mix of textured materials in a single group/component.
- Mac: Fix for most recent Nvidia GPUs not being recognized.
- Removed system sound when entering values. Added better handling of Esc and Tab keys.
- Improved speed of handling large SketchUp textures in SU2018+. It still takes long to get large colorized SU textures (4K+) from SU.
We recommend using RGB Shift option in Thea bitmap texture tone-mapping instead. - Fix for network rendering of .pack.thea creation in SU2018+ when the model contains textured materials with Unicode characters in names. It was resulting in black buckets/darker rendering when the network in use.
- Fix for missing textures in export from TheaRender/Tools/Export Thea scene in SU2018+ to .pack.thea.
- Thea Browser: Fix for failure to download an Online Material with a name ending with a space.
- LUT is being disabled when switching to Filmic now.
- Scene’s dot icon is being updated when pasting settings.
- Fix for camera animation being loaded/saved in camera settings. It was resulting in wrong camera position in a subsequent rendering.
- Even safer call to Laubwerk callback with handling Ruby exception. It still doesn’t fix a crash on rendering start-up caused by the LW player when certain Plant Kit is not installed – waiting for a fix in 1.0.30+.
- Thea Browser: Fixed a crash when trying to insert an external model with .mod.thea.mod.thea extension
- Crash fix for SU texture size modification when IR running.
- IR is not restarted any more when Scene settings are saved or cleared.
- Fixed glare intensity for supersampled renders. It will look the same as in Optix output. Glare value will have to be increased now to get the same effect as before.
- Fix for erroneous, random new version notifications in RV887
Material Editor
- Fix for layer mask procedural texture selection not working for existing texture.
- Fixed the flickering Texture Properties on Mac when picking a color of a procedural texture.
- SSS Layer – Absorption and Scattering colors are changed correctly.
- Fix for a crash with Edge Ramp and wrong appearance when an object is scaled.
- Texture Control highlights its name also when no Value is associated with a texture.

Thea for Cinema 4D v2.1.820.1847 – Changelog
- Added: Engine update to 1847.
- Bug Fix: Save in mat.thea format
- Bug Fix: Load material would not set the material name correctly.
- Bug Fix: Repository materials would not be downloaded correctly in MacOs.
- Bug Fix: The engine minor version would not appear correctly in Thea Render > About.
- Changed: Unit in bevel radius (Thea Object Tag) is changed to millimeters.

Thea for Rhino v2.1.101.1847 – Changelog
- Presto crash fix when using edge ramp texture in combined / weighted / synthesis texture.
- Fixed glare intensity for supersampled renders.
- Fixed Thea materials sometimes not updating correctly interactive render.
