Yes, Rombout is right about the translucency. The textures I used for the model I used in my image came from a commercial model I have and I had to replace them with my own textures before I could share it.
I was a bit lazy with the material and probably shouldn't have used translucency at all.
Well, after all it's free...

Yes sorry for that! I always check the models and there material settings. Most of the time I change them cause there not setup properly
