Here are two pine bushes I've made. Needles are curved planes so it will look best in mid to far distance.

@Rombout: For these I used Tree[d], a now free (abandoned) software that is quick and fun to use and exports objs.
Primarily for game low poly trees but you can make pretty decent ones if you work a bit.
Can be hard to find since its gone from the frecle site.
I should be available from the frecle forum with webarchives but give me a PM if you can't find it.

I do remember tree[d], I posted a link about this on the jerky thea site years ago. Never really use it nowadays cause I'm on Mac and my virtual windows has some issues. I also have tree sketch 3 on my iPad but never really tried something I most say
