Hello all,
as we would like to create a Thea Scenes Repository to our webpage, with some thea scenes for users to download and render, we would like to ask for your help in case you have any scenes that you can share with us.
So, if you have a Thea scene that you can (is yours or have the copyrights) and want to share it for that purpose, you can post it here or send it via email to us (at contact@thearender.com or at christina.psarrou@solidiris.com).
We thank you all in advance for your help :)

Can the scenes have Thea's XFrog plants or materials?

I have quite a few scenes that I could share, but all of them would have to have some of the entourage stripped because those elements are purchased. I'm guessing that this will be an issue for most models. It is pretty rare that every single element and material is built from scratch.
We're hiring Thea + Sketchup modelers.

Hi Christina:

I am not a registered user. My job is basically under construction, but I love using TheaRender as a hobby.

I have some footage of some projects I did years ago, but I wanted to capture them in a render.

Is it possible that they could be of any use?

If You will reveal, I I can send, for evalues.

regards

Pedro

Pd

What format will I send them?

First of all I would like to thank you both for the kind reply :)
At tahota: this is indeed the difficulty in sharing scenes, that some models and textures may be under copyrights. For X-frog plants, as you might have seen in SketchUp scenes repository (http://www.thearender.com/cms/index.php ... cenes.html) we do share three plants, so for only some of them this may not be a problem. We keep the majority for licensed users but sharing some is also a nice "preview". If you have a scene that you think that you have the rights to share, even with some xfrog plants, send it to me and will check it also if we can publish it.

At pedrinalex, the scenes need to be in *.pack.thea or *.scn.thea format for users being able to download and experiment.
Have a look at our page with some scenes already added there: http://www.thearender.com/cms/index.php ... cenes.html
If you can share some scenes please send them to us :)
We thank you again both for your help..!

It's been a while since I appear here, mostly due to of the amount of work accumulated, I hope I can help a little this community that has done so much for me :D
This week I finished a bathroom project and I would like to share it, this model was thought to be rendered quickly in BSD, it has a trick with the lights coming from the window, is just choose BSD and good render.
The models inside the scene were downloaded from the Trimble 3D Warehouse.
The file has about 30 MB so I will this 4shared link:

These renders and the scene look very nice and thank you very much1
As these models are shared from Trimble in SketchUp, I guess we will have no problem to share the scene..
I will have a more detailed look in the next days and will inform you on that :)
Thank you again and thumps up for the nice work!

Christina,

I sent you a model, I had to remove the Arroway materials and commercial HDRI, however I replaced them with free stuff, see image.

Perhaps you wont be interested by this scene but as I've done it myself I think it can be shared to those who wants to play even if it's a really simple scene.

I've removed the texture of the floor to avoid copyright issue with you ;)
