Hello everyone!
In an effort to refresh our content library, we started by creating a new Thea Lights Collection for SketchUp. The plan is to add more models to the collection in several categories like Scandinavian, Retro, etc.
The library consists of 15 textured and ready-to-use models, each one with a low-poly proxy and a selectable Thea Light, making it easy to change the intensity.
Light intensities and emitting materials have been setup for night renderings with typical camera values: f-number: 2.8, Shutter Speed: 50 and ISO:300.
The file is in .lib.thea format and once installed it will create a new folder, Thea Lights Collection, inside the Thea Data > Models path.
>> DOWNLOAD LIBRARY
Kind Regards,
George

Thanks for these
I was surprised to see high-poly bulbs being used as active emitters. They work fine in isolation, so it will be interesting to see if there is a noise issue in heavy scenes.
BTW Table-Lamp-01 is missing a light source.

In which model are you reffering to? All models have passive emitters for their light source and use Thea Lights instead, except for Ceiling-03 which actually uses a hidden mesh emitter.Hieru wrote:Thanks for these![]()

I was referring to almost all of them...but only when adding the mods in Studio. In Sketchup they are set up as you describe.george wrote:In which model are you reffering to? Ideally I would like to be able to update the mods in Studio for different lighting scenarios.

Are these the only lights components in a collection available here from Thea?
I was hoping for more than 15 lights.
I don't want to sound ungrateful, I'm sure 15 lights is lovely.
