I have prepared a sample SU model using few different Thea materials, an IES light and SU textures being used in different channels. You may find the thin glass & wireframe material and displaced cube interesting.

Thanks for this Tomasz. Very helpful. the mist(erys) is beginning to clear now. Had a "Report to Thea Window" on export, changed xml file name and it worked, will try and replicate it (ran away from screencapture) and place in the relevant bit of forum.

Thanks again Tomasz, Just one question about your Sketchup model.
How did you do that viewport in sketchup and
transposed it into Thea viewport?
Exactly identical any tricks that you have to share
Cheers

It is not a mystery SU has ability to set an aspect ratio for a view. The problem is that SU doesn't return parameters of a cropped view, but parameters of the full screen view. The camera field of view has to be adjusted in accordance with aspect ratio set in SU. That is the 'trick'.PINOY wrote:Thanks again Tomasz, Just one question about your Sketchup model.
