Hi there,

I am wondering if there is a good work around to the absence of decal support for Thea in Rhino?

Or----- Does anyone know if and when this will be supported?

Hi Sam,

You can add another layer to the applied material and assign the desired texture with an alpha map. Have a look here how it can be done: http://kb.thearender.com/thea-for-rhino ... -channels/

Thanks Christos,

Unfortunately this doesn't really help; as some awkward shapes need box, planer, cylindrical mapping for example; which renders the UV mapping null and void.

I am hoping for something like this in my object properties (see attached)

Hi! Have you tried checking the "Use multiple mapping channels" option in the Properties Panel?
