After a recent system crash on my PC, neither of my old GPUs would work after the OS was reinstalled from scratch.

I used the opportunity to upgrade to an RTX 2080 ti. The card works great with Thea 2.0 but it can't be found by Thea Studio and Thea4SU 1.5 - I'm assuming that's because RTX cards aren't supported.

Ideally I could do with a second GPU just for my monitors and doing post-pro whilst rendering. So, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any current GPUs might be compatible with Thea 1.5. Would any GTX card work, or is there a compatibility cut-off point?

I run Gtx 1080 with Thea 1.5, all working fine.

look at the benchmark tests maybe?
I'd imagine whatever s best in the bunch for V1.5 will be more affordable now and still a decent option with V2x
Version of CUDA and compute capability is the factor you need to consider, like Simon mentioned whatever a 1080 is, is reasonable guide.. so to me its the Pascal series or lower

if you look in the plugin section v1.5.09.547.1462 works with 2018, I don't think it had anything new but the bundle has a matching Studio which I believe was the last update

Thanks Nige; I hadn’t thought of looking at the benchmark results for pointers
