Hi,

I'm working on some renders for a christmas event.
For a fast interior render with nice contrasty lighting, I like to use Presto AO without but with AO disabled.

Any feedback is appreciated

For me the render is too clean but I like the mood very much. The direction of the textures on the counter is a bit strange. It should align with the long direction of the boards.

Overall I like these moments before the parties where my kids can go on stage and play a bit.

I love barn model making, beams are fun work and the ambience you create here with yours is a good start.

Joao is right on the money about the wood grain direction.... as it currently steals attention away from the whole of the scene

The other point Joao brings up "a bit too clean", could be easily addressed by adding a few more assets that work within the environment and using a DOF with the focus towards the state so that things closer to the camera were a bit blurry.

But, this looks like a great project and I can only imagine how it's turning out for this season now.

Good job.
