These are a couple of images I did, based on an apartment I saw on ArchDaily, located in Alcantara, Portugal. The play of colors throughout the apartment is really cool I think!
Let me know how it looks! Really pleased with how these turned out :D

A couple of "pre-viz" images I made as I was testing camera angles:

I think they could be great renders, but the images are overexposed

Great images

A bit overexposed perhaps and also a small detail, I think you oversmoothed your edges in sketchup which make your cabinet doors look like they are round and not flat, see photoreference for how the kitchen door panels should look.

Other then that these are really great, top level work

AVIZ .....very good, yeah a bit overexposed but just a bit, actually someone likes that, why not
But Dbalex is right, first thing I have noticed were those not flat doors.
I have experienced the same problem in the past, actually it was result of using ROUNDCORNER plugin only on the front face of the door.
Maybe its your problem as well.
Other than that - perfect results,
and trying to replicate real pictures is the best way how to train your eyes and abilities.
Keep up the good work.

Ahh you're right! I was looking at the image for so long I honestly couldn't really tell if they were rendering weirdly or if I was just imagining it  I'm sure it has something to do with RoundCorner like Oskar mentioned.

I know exactly what you're talking about! I thought I solved it by applying round corner to the whole door model, then turning on hidden geometry, and unsmoothing the front face of the door (so it shows up as a single face with 4 edges around it) but I guess it didn't work :( I'm sure it has something to do with SketchUp's weird "hidden triangle" feature that sometimes form on faces for no reason.

A couple of tweaks later! The cabinets look so much better. Hopefully the exposure on these is better as well. Cheers!
