making realistic things in computer/paper is my hobby , i like corona but 3ds max or like programs are not for me :D . i am used to vray in sketchup but never satisfied with it , yes it gives good results but at the cost of time , so i was searching for renderer like corona inside sketchup , and i found thea v2 :clap: using it from some time and totally loving it.

thanks to the Devs. for giving us this masterpiece . keep it up , it will be at the top in some time. :)

dont know why, but glare and optix denoiser dont work together , if i enable denoiser , glare effect goes . :?

i dreaded somewhere in forum or guide , if we put value of 100% for all layer , say for 4 layer in our case , then automatically equal value goes for each layer , in our case 25 % . to check it i am doing a quick test by deleting 2nd and 3rd layer. will post results.
I guess there is a misunderstanding here.
each top layer covers the beneath layer completely except if:
1- lowering down the layer weight, or
2- use a layering mask so that controlling the layers mixture

The premise you mentioned is about the energy conservation law (or some other technical name) that claims the outgoing energy would not exceed entering energy. Thea is designed so that the total sum outgoing (rendering) 1 unit light energy not exceeding 1 unit entering light energy automatically. it means there is no need to care about the total sum, it would not disobey the physical world rules. but in layer combination the aforementioned tips must be considered.
By the way you have created really nice materials and also the final result is really amazing. I think most of materials could be achieved in 1 or 2 layers :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap:

Man these scenes all look good, main thing is because they seem to be all high poly. What is you modeling app? Doesnt look like su models to me.

PS for that silk, you need to use metal look, either mix it with a metal or set the K value and lower the IOR value. Perhaps try .8 ior and use 2-3 for the k value.

They are all sketchup scenes. Some models are donloaded form internet and some models are converted by transmutr. :)
