Is this the official release?

Congratulations! But where are the drums and party props for such an important event?

I hope this hits the nail! Good luck!

Is this their answer to Thea Studio? Or something else? If someone actually fills out the form and gets a quote, post it here. Always a bad sign when you have to request a quote. Like a restaurant with no prices on the menu.

I requested a quote for both Studio and Render.

I actually like them and if the price is fair, why not?

Still working with Thea studio v1.5 ( importing the basic models from sketchup )
Is Altair Inspire Render the next thea studio ( or is it Altair Inspire Studio )? What is mainly the difference?
Is it possible to export form sketchup again ( like we used to)? Haven't got the time to test anything of this new software (or beta versions).
I only want the most 'thea studio alike' software that can run the newest GPU's.
Has anyone an answer to this please?
Thanks :)

Altair Render is the closest thing to Studio. But I haven't tested the new version yet so I can't tell if it has all the features of the old Thea Studio. It has some improvements like OpenGL rendering that are interesting but I also don't know how far they went with it.

The thing is that I asked for a quote for the software but got no answer...

Downloaded inspire render for quick test :

- license window in beginning - veryvery slow ( don't know why, maybe I am doing something wrong )
- opened an old thea studio v1.5 format file, crashed immediately ( perhaps the instancing of the 1.5 makes the file to big )
- after this I opened a smaller file and put interactive render on -> but can not switch this off ( while the button says just to click again, maybe I don't get it )

I admit this was a very quick test by me just to try a bit. Looks promising and I really hope this program can replace thea studio v1.5 but these little struggles don't make me want to try further today because I have not a lot of time.

I would absolutely not care to pay a lot of money for only thea studio v1.5 upgraded working with the latest GPU's + denoising.
I hope inspire render will fulfill my needs but for now I don't know it yet.
