I find it very distracting when the tools transparency activates, if the mouse is no longer hovering them. Can we have an option to toggle it off?

We planned for that option, it's just low priority for now :)

yeah I must admit I really don't like that, with IR running I see lag getting the panel back

You can also dock the panels

Maybe you can bump it up a bit?

No I'm on a 1920x1080 monitor and theres enough already there, I don't mind how it works now but I'd rather that it not fade, looks nice but it really isn't needed

I, actually, don't think it looks so nice. It's an extra thing happening on screen that doesn't help us focus.

I deeply respect your opinions but I just ask you to use it for a while.

Most of the people that are using this UI had the same request at the beginning.
Then, with time, they adjusted to it and they actually appreciated the enlarged viewing space because you can see through the panel.
Nobody, so far, have ever reiterated that request.

That's why the priority is low currently.

If it was something I had made I've change it so you could set the fade time.. "0" being off
We'll have to agree to disagree on this one, I find it a pain :)

Well, I have to agree with Nige. But over time everybody gets used to anything. So if the software works and we have a need for it, we get over the annoyances it has. In the end, good software overrides this kind of things...
