Maybe I'm missing something but I can't see how to change the uv projection on a material
In SU? we are spoilt with all of these:

I like frontal projection, I use it a lot... from the extreme:

Wall e has a AO layer added to a lot of the materials, the ground is frontal projected and as you can see its not supported

Texture tool Nigec, however its a different dialog. Its quite nice but i wish it was somehow integrated in the material panel or easier accessible. This method means more steps somehow. Also when you do want to edit than material panels closes and visa versa. I find this really counterproductive since im clicking to much. Thats why we need docked panels like the original studio has and other apps have. Thats way more productive and speeds up one's workflow.

They seem to have forgotten or left out a couple special projections. I also dont see the new projection we have in SU. Thats a super nice feature and really helps when models are UV-ed. EDIT i did found them now when i uses AutoAxis, not sure why the name is different here?

Also i would like manual input. I find the widget a bit wonky sometimes. Especially when using UV's, there is only that circle and nothing else i can do. At least i didnt found it yet.

Its the icon next to the material icon and shows a UV grid or square pattern.

yeah front is missing and Autoaxis isn't the same thing, that's what the model is using when I simplified the scene

Front is missing, that's a notable thing we forgot.
Autoaxis comprises both Cubic and Triplanar
