You guys should be very proud of your achievements. Congratulations. On time and on budget. You have created an issue for your customers for Christmas though. Family or Thea, Friends or Thea, hmm.

Congrats again!

Yes, this means partial refunding. It means 280 euros instead of 320 for the bundle you purchased, that's 35 difference from the promotional offer.

I do understand the frustration when you buy earlier without knowing a promotional discount is about to start. We do not make such discounts often and we avoid having huge price difference, on top of trying to make this as smooth as possible with (partial) refunding for the last 2-3 weeks (I am not sure if I have seen this somewhere else).

Bottom line, you should still think that with whatever price you purchased, you are going to get tons of updates, resources (and more to come), support, etc. (and even the price of 320 euros is a discounted one from the final one 395 euros). It is not like a piece of hardware... Think that your time learning/using the software is more important here and Thea is definitely not going to be undervalued at any moment. ;)

Best wishes

I wondered the same thing for Blender plugin
In theory Blender should be using GPU+CPU you just can't set to use one or the other, I haven't tested it but my next batch creator is using the same technology and that is using both ;)
ok thanks nigec. :)

edit : "Ca déchire!"

edit2 : Is z-clipping in orthogonal projection working ?
yes z-clipping works in orthogonal view
Very useful to do floor plan.

I made a mistake too yesterday by z clipping the wrong camera. No change in the viewport...

No need for that. The installers always overwrite the files.

Can I install the new version and C4D will work with it?
Yes, you can install the new version, no problem. About the version, there will be an answer soon.
