I made this render, because i was curious how to use Thea with my sketches as an illustration tool. I think, it will be important software in my graphic work.

Ok I may have veered off the track a little but here goes..

Image
1) The icon is rendered and laid out onto a background in InDesign

Image
2) This is how the normal version would look

Image
3) The chameleon would be 3d and ideally hug the form more so it doesn't look like he's humping it
but I do not posess the ability or time to do that (for now it's a psd comp -sorry)

Image
Keeping number 3 in mind - I produced this within my ability - texture background is applied post

Image
A deeper/richer version of number 2

I agree with Pixero.. nr3 looks really nice :)

and grzessnik i like ur style!

I see a lot off really nice renders, perhaps we can make these kind of contest more often.
they force u in modelling something that u normally never do (i for instance almost never got time to leave the architecture scene).

Maybe we can make a monthly subject i love to see what kind off different approaches people have on the same subject.

My 1st entry is almost done cooking.

+1 for the 5 and I agree with victor, adding the chameleon would be even better.
