Thank you wax.

I can see this product not just for architectural renderings, but for changing teddy bear skins to actually using it on clothing.

I saw the animation in progress in the beta forums, very cool stuff.

One thing however, the splash screen does not stay open long enough for an animated image to show all the cycles, thus I'm thinking a static image would be best.

hmmm... not sure i would like this as a splash screen isnt really noticeable whats going on.
Perhaps it's better to let the scenery be procedural line view/with a blend texture. Give the Cameleon more attention for the eye. Perhaps he can have parts that lite up etc etc

*edit
i did a quick one , note these are all models from the forum and the chameleon i found on the web. So i think i cant take part :eh:

okay small update!
i wanted to give i more of an chameleon effect so i used an old trick of mine to use light and use soft mask to fluently transform from on to another material and i added some fire flies for the detail  i wantreed to animated them but i couldnt cause i instanced them and it doesnt work. i need to do them all manually then?! it's still in the oven know so i'll late it bake thtough the night to clear it out

only problem i see! (ehh perhaps its a bigger problem) you cant really see what animal it is.
I cant model it in a better form now

*EDIT
I updated the final image know, its a bit less noisy know

We've made an animated splash screen for a software one time ... it was not a good idea ;)

The image should be rendered with Thea and it is not necessary to use Colimo.

We are actually looking for an image, that would be related to nature/chameleon! ;) :shh:

best wishes
