This is what i got
Thea meaning and name origin

Thea \the()-thea\ as a girl's name is pronounced THEE-ah. It is of Greek origin, and the meaning of Thea is "goddess". Short form of names like Althea, Mathea and Dorothea (Greek) "gift of God". Mythology: the Greek goddess of light; mother of the sun, moon, and dawn. Actress Téa Leoni.

Thea has 3 variant forms: Tea, Theia and Thia.

For more information, see also related names Dorothy and Timothea.

Baby names that sound like Thea are Theo, Dea, Taya, Te-, Thu, Toya and Toia.

View a list of the 5 names that reference Thea.
especially the part where it says "gift of god the greek goddess of light" does really aply to the app as we play with light!

Thea?

Wasn't Thea a "twin" of the earth that crashed collided with Earth during the formation of the solar system..leaving behind the moon? I thought that was the idea behind the name; an alternative Earth.

  pronunciation I guess is everything... I have fired my greek translator!
Thea with no accent also spelt Theia = aunty (what I thought it meant - clearly a BIG misunderstanding) aunty render, c'mon surely.... (shamed)

Thea with an accent on the "e" means "view"
Thea with an accent on the "a" means "godly"

stu.dio wrote:"Thea" in greek means Aunty but it also symbolizes someone with whom you trust and is all wise, providing and protecting... at least that is my findings living here.
No, the word corresponds to "Good View" (although with a slightly different pronouncation it means "Goddess"). Aunty is close but not the same.

I was trying to think outside the box, and wanted to participate because I really appreciate all the input I have received from everyone in this community.
So even though it didn't quite turn out the way I intended it was still a lot of fun.
So here is Chamelion ( Bally style)
