Now that I have been thinking about it, I am a bit confused also. Sorry.

An additional question I have is related to Roger's: Should the scene be predominantly one material? That is, mainly @Material@?

Or are we looking for cool looking scenes that show off one or more subsets of advanced materials, like a combination of SSS and Caustics, that might, for example, be used in a Thea sales brochure? If this is the case, should there also be an @Material@ somewhere in the scene?

I would think more of it being a combination of this; Its modeling but also presentation. I think we also need to understand that the scene will be properly and clear visible in the small preview window

I think it was somewhat confusing, which may have been the reason for the lack of entries...

Hi all,

Let´s try, I want to use the room that I built years ago but still find it useful, I call it "leaf room", even the original file can be found over Scene&Models forum. I hope is it ok to submit this to the competition.

I figured I'd give this a shot, so here we go.

Entry One is an exterior architecture scene. It features flat surfaces, a round surface, and an inset to show materials in shade. A tree provides a sense of scale.
