I think it would be better to send the results on a mail adress so that they can not be seen here until the contest is finished. And show them all at the end of the contest at same time. Makes it more exciting...

I think it would be even better if we all open a wip thread to show the advancements we make on our image, so we can share thoughts, workflow,... and so everyone can learn from the different entries. If I find the time for this contest I will certainly share my workflow there.

Well, seems nobody entered the contest so far?
I'd like to enter this image:
While creating more content for my new website, I worked with Thea and it's beautiful Caustics from an IES light through a glass of water.
When the Caustics showed some bad banding I tried out some filters - initially to get rid of the banding.
I ended up with this image that is even more interesting to my eyes than the original.
And since I'm sure we'll see many photo-real images here, I thought that something different may add some spice
The Grain was added in post, the imperfections are intentional
I look forward to see all the beautiful pictures!
