Tomasz,
will the imported texture (material) from Thea to SU be in a lower resolution?
If so  will it be an automatic process or by choice ?

One will be able to set a size 256x256,512x512,1024x1024. There will be a button to bring into SU a texture/material of a channel of your choice. I don't want make it an automatic process.

I remember that there is a problem because SU is 32 bit and Thea 64 bit (if you have a 64 bit machine). How about this??

There may be a problem with very large models containing multiple high res textures, but in such a case there will be always an option to render a model in a 64bit studio launched as an independent application, being able to access whole available memory.

Translations will be supported, same way as in the Studio.

Is there a speed difference if I render in SU or in Thea?

We haven't done such a test, but I do not expect to see a difference in processing time. Thea4SU can use all available threads. Even if a user is doing something inside SU, this doesn't affect much the rendering itself.

Don't know if it's possible but I would like to be able to set the renderer to use for example 6 threads (out of eight) and be able to continue working with the last two. If I set Thea to low it almost stops rendering when in background. Possible?
