Hey guys, quick (and very noisy) render i did for a school project for a friend.
He designed the space and I set the illumination, camera and materials furniture fixtures and all that, so he basically gave me the walls :) it´s easier to make renders look good when architecture is interesting.
I was waiting to upload it when i had time to cook it some more but i´m so busy right now i´m just gonna leave it here and maybe render it when i can. I hope you guys like!

Nice! Good job! Out of curiosity, how long did this cook for on your machine? I'm about to do my first interior with Thea (done lots with Vray) and was curious. Also, did you use the a physical sky with sun or a direct light to create the sunlight?

Thanks Rombout! :)

Hey Ryan, Than you! i left it just for 6 or 8 hours since i recall but that´s because of the deadline, i had 4 hours to set the scene mats and props and just the night to render :S.
Becuause of the messy geometry (imported from rhinoceros) i had to clean like 50,000 faces (i´m not kidding that´s what thomthoms cleanup script said) and also because there are two huge glass panes behind the letters so that scene needs much more time.
Sunlight is Thea´s physical sky with sun :) i can share of course any other parameters if you wish, i will post camera settings in the afternoon (gotta go now!)
and i´d love to see that interior you are about to do :).

I leave the IBL version Kim requested, i would have left it a bit longer but a stupid windows restart (Antivirus related) didn´t let me so here it is!

that first shot had a soft glow, gave it more of a dreamy epic touch... perhaps some more evident sun rays would add a nice touch

Thanks Duncan, i´m very glad you like it :)
I failed at saving the render to resume it later, just saved the .img.thea and thought it was enough but when i did hit reset it started over :( i guess i had to save it as pack or something, well... i´m rendering the day scene again i hope i can let it cook longer this time.
