Hi Guys,

Is animation similar to the walkthrough function in Kerky?

Will we be able to animate water via any kind of particle effects/volumetrics? I imagine that's nightmare code to have to write & am totally happy with what I'm seeing so far. Hope I don't sound too demanding of your talents. :)

Animation is keyframes based. More information on this will be shared in time ;)

Are there sub-samples for rotational blur? All the blur I am seeing looks pretty much linear.

Still looks pretty linear to me. It would be good to see a clear example like a helicopter rotor blade or a spinning top.

Hmmm.... it is a beautiful render but the motion blur still looks kinda linear to me (particularly on the tail rotor at the back). It looks a bit circular on the main rotor but I'm still not convinced.

Oh yeah, I noticed that everything I have said so far seems negative so I will say now that I am really pleased to see the emergence of Thea and I wish you all the best.

Well, the tail rotor has two sets of counter rotating blades and the helicotper has it's own movement upwards - I'd say it's just optical illusion what you see. ;) Perhaps you cold provide a model of a simple spin to render.

John thank you for your comments.

I think I know what you mean but whether the blur looks "linear" or not, this is related with the model and how the artist decides to add the key frames.

Thea Render animation and motion blur - by default - use an advanced interpolation scheme between the keyframes (we can not expose the exact details for obvious reasons).

best wishes
