We are very glad to start with a powerful feature such as displacement mapping. Thea is able to compute micro-displacement on the fly (i.e. during rendering) saving huge memory amounts.

It is tunable, well integrated into the material editor and of course joy to play with!

best wishes

Wow, the second image is fantastic!
Is the "glow" effect a post render edit, or part of Thea?
Also, is the background a blurred image in the model, an HDRI image or some post editing trickery?
Thinking about it, what exporters are to be available from modelling software?

Good luck with this product.

I think that Grzegorz Rakoczy can answer better your questions regarding rendering.

At the moment, I can not really answer which particular exporters will be available on release date. We will surely keep you updated and make announcements on the way.

best wishes

Almost everything is done in Thea. I've just add just little bit lens distortion in post production. But glow and dof are made in Thea.

Thank you for reply

Will be such in gui? I understand that we live in quad/server/farm century but for weak machine(1-2 in distr.network rendering)

Currently there is the possibility to switch on/off texture buffering, but it is probable that there might be an option caching it on disk.
