In the land of dual core you learn to just go to bed and let the software do its thing :)

What system do you have Richard?

Rhino is a great tool that can create really high poly meshes and Thea can render all what it feeds.

Great image BlackIce. I for one, really like the lighting, it sets a mood. It's so nice to see Rhino renders on here too!

With a little scene and material optimization render time will most likely reduce.

So, so, true - with any renderer. I just finished a project yesterday and originally the renders were just taking too long for me. I went through all the materials and optimized them, got creative with some the lighting setup, and ended up cutting the render time per image to 1/3 of the original time!!!!

Ok, Richard, since your having trouble opening a folder while rendering, try this bad boy:

What I really like about Thea is that you can render the scene biased if time is an issue, or leave it over night as unbiased if you have time, in fact you can open numerous instances of Thea and render several renders overnight or longer if time is not an issue.

Dual core mate! Though not for long! Just waiting for the new range of graphics cards to pop up as Gigabyte may likely produce a monster as the Ram supposedly can top of 6Gb! And in that time the i9's might also be around. That will be a monster to crank out renders!

@ Pete, mate I think it's normal to be able to run tandem renders or more, isn't it?
