Saving in 16bits formats.

why not open it in photoshop then save as 16 bit? :?

Because it is stupid thing as no missing 16-bit data would appear in image. The data presented in converted 16-bit image will be still 8-bit data. You can check it by histogram.

I vote for GPU render abilities ASAP. I do not want to be forced to buy something like Octane Render.

For scenes with lots of instancing it would be useful to be able to control layer visibility whilst in the darkroom.

Ability to save color/swatch libraries, with RGB/HSV/CMYK color picker like Photoshop.
Ability to sample a color from the screen.

Support File search path, like AutoCad/SketchUP and others.
Let me put my install core on C: or whereever but allow me to pick where the heavier
parts of the install go...(yes I know you can do this now to some extent, but it breaks
and you get the dreaded "texture not found") Lots of SSD's out there now and they're getting bigger but still an issue for those with an SSD for C:\

Better simpler ability to "reset bounding box" "reset center point" for selected instances.
Often instance "origins" for lack of a better term are wildly offset from the instance itself...making proper editing a chore...have tried the workaround suggested to Bob James in that thread with limited sucesss...sometimes it works, sometimes not...perhaps an ID-10_T error but Current implementation seems clunky.

I don't know if there is a shortcut for undo/redo; if not, the usual ctrl z, ctrl y would be good. :)

yes +1.
also when using widgets or transformation panel, if we could choose between object local axis, or world global axis.

Sometimes, when I do a render for Colimo, the render seams noise free and clean with the Thea default white materials displayed in Darkroom, but once in Colimo, it is noisy. With trial and error, the export has to be repeated several times until it's clean. Could it be possible to have a default material better suited for seeing noise in Darkroom ?

I usually do an area render over a difficult part of the scene and see long its going to take to get it noise free and go by whatever the S/P was when I stopped it, if its longer than I want it to be I try messing with lights or render it overnight if it might take longer than what I would like.
Same crf settings will pick up noise and fireflies (the gamma ones are good for spotting fireflies)
