To test Thea4SU I thought I'd do somethin from scratch rather than use my usual odd ball scenes, so I thought why not try and mimic some textures and choose the window in my dining room lol, model and textures took an hour ish, although I did have the wallpaper texture from an earlier version, but the blinds and sill are one off
I let in run while I watched the Moto GP classes on 2 cores near enough 400 s/p on TR1

definitely rendered mate, you just made my day :D
I think its a really cool way to improve texture and lighting skills, pick the room you are sat in and try and mimic the conditions :)

that's definitely the best training you can get.
having a closer look, there is strange kind of shadow in the intersection of floor-wall.
if the model is done in SU, i think you can by-pass this issue by bevelling the floor.
i have read about it somewhere in the forum.

ps: i am amazed by the vertical blinds, it an excellent material set-up.

its not the floor the window is fairly high with a dresser below it, this one in fact:
