I always loved abstract cg, so i´m updating my website style and i´m thinking about this asbract detail shots showcasing Thea´s powerful material system and fantastic performance. This is the first of a series of tests that are still wips. I hope you like. C&C are always welcome.

Nice one!. Really like the concept and the realism.
Maybe the logo looks a bit "placed later" because of the plain white surface. I would add some bevel or bump (or reflection map), just to look less perfect.
Looks really nice anyway.

Thanks Rosco! i was having some trouble rounding the edges so i left it that way, i did a rusty texture test but didn´t quite like it, in fact it´s metal, if you look at the sides you can see the reflection. but i agree with you, it pops up a lot, i like it though, i will try to smooth it later, i´m sure it will look nicer. Thanks again!

Hey Duncan!
Thanks! in fact i placed them with sketchy physics!

Hey guys!
Nomeradona:
Thanks! i´m glad you liked them! :D

dbalex:
Ty! you should try! it´s a pretty simple setup, sphere component was mapped with SketchUV
and then i just placed them over a surface and ran SketchyPhysics.

i prepared a scene with thin film interference but haven´t had time to render it as i´m busy
with some work projects u_u but i will upload it as soon as i can, meanwhile here´s the glass test.

jenujacob:
That´s a nice idea! and it´s relatively easy to do since the spere is a component. i will try it when i have time, Thanks!
