Hi Junkman,

I'm also new to Thea and from Germany.

"i had so many problems with thea, incredible program.
had persistent problems with the uv's that they are black or totally shifted.
not even now i can say why it worked at once.
german users here are on the road? times can one explain why this is."

LG Junkman

Well well well, Junkman, you post your first render in the showcase section of the forum only to complain about the software... It might not be the proper attitude for a first post 8-)
And, IMHO, the etiquette would require that you try and write in English since there's no German section in the above mentioned forum yet.
Then again, it's just my opinion.
Cheers
Francois

Perhaps you could post a simple scene representing your problem with UVs, otherwise understanding it could be be next to impossible.

Hi,

it is very important for us to know the plugin you are using as well. If the problems are so big that you cannot even get started, I would suggest to contact us directly through e-mail (don't worry, we can support German users).

Best wishes

hy together,
i write in german to search the german users here to discuss.
Sorry about that. My english is not good, if I have written something wrong please correct me.
I didn´t think it would make such circumstances.
Doesn't matter, for the future I know it now.

@giannis:
Iam using the 094_b Beta Plugin Version. I know there is an 94c Version, but the zip file includes the b Version.

@Frankych:I'm not complaining directly, i annoyance more about myself because i don't get it :-)

@notareal:
Yes, i think this is the best way. i try in few days to build a scene.

I can well imagine that the problem is in front of the monitor

Thx for the answers

Cinema4D plugin? Are you on 11 or 11.5 and windows/macosx?

Perhaps, if you have R12 or R13 you might want to join the alpha testing forum of "Thea for C4D".

Best wishes
