I don't think I've been as impatient to try something new since I lost my virginity... :o

YEAH !! GPU RENDERING (sorry.. that had to be all caps)

will it support multiple gfx cards in one machine, to speed up rendering even more ?

Congratulations Giannis and Thea Team, the video is quite stunning!!...I think that GPU rendering will be a really great leap ahead for thea render!!!!

P.s. a little curiosity, if I could ask(and you could answer clearly...:)), I ve seen during the video a snapshot of the rendering setting panel where the video engine is"cuda gpu(mc)", so have you decided to switch to CUDA(I hope really no!!) or something as a double implementation CUDA+OPENCL??

Can someone post the hardware specs used in that video?

For the specs used in the GPU interactive render: Intel i5 (quad core) + NVidia GTX580

Best wishes

Fantastic stuff!!!

Is this running purely via the GPU, or is it a hybrid method hinted at in the past?

What will be the limits to image size/scene complexity depending on GPU memory?
(I have a 3gb GTX580 at work and a 1.5 GB GTX580 at home.)
