The 3dsmax integrated version of Thea continues growing.

The next video shows how geometry changes are updated at pseudo-realtime (I hate the realtime term that every renderer uses!), it takes in account cloning, instancing, mapping changes and so.

Also almost all the Thea settings are being integrated in the common max panel already, and all the settings placed there are already responding in IR mode.

That's all I don't have so much time to spend... lot of work on max2thea is pending ;)

why do max2thea always have cool stuff?hehe
question:
1. do we have to put a dome in order to have a sky "like vray-max" setup?or same as before workflow which is export the scene to thea standalone to insert ibl ... then final render.
2. can interactive render inside 3dsmax be save?

thanks

None of them, is not done but the idea is just put the ibl in the Render panel in max.

Fantastic work Victor.

Questions.

1. Can it render animated hair from 3ds max?

2. Will the integrated version of the render will be as fast as the stand alone? I ask because I have read that stand alone versions of renders are faster because they don't have to calculate the communication between apps.

3. When are you going to have a beta for us to try out?..., i hope very very soon ;) ;)

Thanks

Didn't try, if you want to send me a example scene I could try it.

You are right, but in small terms, the highest load by far is the render itself so the performance penalty is very very low.

It doesn't depend only on us but some files we are using are private due SolidIris policy.

Anyway somethins are pendant yet like IR and environment/sun and IR and materials (it will take looong :()
