Remo Kast

Remo Kast is using Thea Render for two years now and has given us several great renders. We are happy to have Remo Kast as the September featured artist and here is how he describes briefly his workflow:

I am Remo Kast, CG Visualizer from Switzerland and I work in "büro remo kast: environments". I have worked for 10 years with 3d software SketchUp and Maxwell Render. I usually work for interior designers, furniture manufacturers and marketing companies.
I use Thea Render for 2 years now and I am always overwhelmed by this engine. For modeling, I use SketchUp and FormZ. I usually export the models and I use the intuitive plug-in for SketchUp or Cinema 4D. I love to assign the materials directly in SketchUp or Cinema4D. The very simple settings of Thea Render make the rendering times in TR1 good again, so all in all, no more than if I had a render with V-Ray.
Thea Render is now considered the standard render engine in my production pipeline. I think that it has the best Price to Performance ratio. Moreover, Thea Render is for me one of the most advanced and innovative render engines in the market.
I am looking forward to the future... Happy rendering!
