A Splash Contest for Chameleon Edition
Thursday, 01 September 2011 09:34

The past days we were thinking about giving a cool name to our new - forthcoming - edition v1.1 and without much thought we ended up to "Chameleon". Not only, it's a cool name, it also loosely connects with one of the major upcoming features, that is the integration with Colimo (check our tech announcement).

But! we also need a new splash image for the new edition. And what's better for "warming up" for v1.1 than to hold a contest for the splash image? Prizes are Colimo licenses and credits, more details of the contest such as requirements and deadline can be found in the entry thread.

If you are a licensed user, we are looking forward to your entry!

Google 3D Basecamp - Thea Render Session :: Pete Stoppel in explaining post processing controls and relight

The Google's SketchUp 3D Basecamp is now over and we certainly feel very satisfied from the convention. First of all, Pete Stoppel has made a great presentation of various features, along with upcoming interactive render, showing Thea in action and in connection with SketchUp.

Second, and equally important, users have embraced Thea right from the beginning. We deeply thank you all for your constant support without which it is difficult (if not impossible) for Thea to extensively spread in the computer graphics community (and beyond!).

You can browse more photos from Thea Render session in the sketchucation's picasa album.

Join Us at Google 3D Basecamp :: T-Shirts and CDs will be given away at the convention :)

We have managed to prepare everything we wanted (just in time!) and so, we are very happy that Thea Render will be at Google's SketchUp 3D Basecamp, a convention taking place between 1st-3rd September at Colorado USA.

Pete Stoppel, from Thea's A Team, will be at the convention, showing & demonstrating Thea Render along with its latest advances (such as interactive render).

There will be also 20 CDs of Thea Render distributed free of charge to interested users with Studio and SU plugin licenses. For our big fans, there will be also T-shirts with Thea Render logo.
